Quality & Production
Whether it's a timeless tee or a comfy long-sleeve, every 12-Grand shirt is made from the highest quality of organic cotton out there, ethically cut and sewn in our factory located in Tirupur, India (which also manufactures well-known brands such as FILA and Ralph Lauren).
With 12 different sizes, we're really proud of our inclusive sizing and the gender-neutral approach. Plus, those high-end details on a fresh silky 200 g/m2 fabric adds that luxe feel to our shirts! We always keep a close eye on every single detail, ensuring everything is just on point. But it's not just about quality fit and comfort; it's also about being sustainable and ensuring our workers are treated well with fair wages and safe working conditions.
The production of a 12-Grand tee involves six stages.
Cotton farming – Our cotton is sourced from farmers certified by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), making sure it’s great for both the farmers and the planet.
Yarn and knitting – Done in a facility with ISO 14000 and SA 8000 certifications to ensure quality and social responsibility.
Dyeing and bleaching –This process uses Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) to eliminate waste, and everything meets ISO 14000 and Oeko-Tex 100 standards.
Cutting, sewing, finishing – These steps are completed in certified environments that uphold safety standards for employees and do not use or support any form of underage or forced labor.
Quality check – We always give the tee a good once-over before shipping. Guaranteeing that our shirts will keep up the high standards.
Shipping – We aim for the most direct shipping route, getting it straight from the factory to your mailbox.
Things change quickly. To keep up, we are constantly questioning our processes and thinking about ways to improve. This includes everything from climate impact and working conditions to more efficient shipping methods.
